A Simple Dollar Tree DIY Christmas Sign
With the holiday season just around the corner, I wanted to share a fun DIY project that I completed. I made a Peppermint Mocha Dollar Tree Christmas sign that turned out beautifully and was incredibly easy to make! To start, I picked up a few items from my local Dollar Tree store, including a wooden sign, some red and white puff paint, and a few packs of peppermint candies. Using some supplies I already had at home, the end result was a beautiful and unique Christmas decoration that is sure to impress all of my guests this holiday season. A Simple Dollar Tree Peppermint Mocha Christmas Sign
Supplies:
- Wood Sign
- Wood Coffee Cup Ornaments
- Wooden Alphabet Letters
- Drywall Compound
- White Glass BeadsĀ
- Beige Paint
- White Puff Paint
- Red Puff Paint
- White GlitterĀ
Directions:

- Gather Supplies. Watch the video below for more instructions.
- Use a plastic cup and wood popsicle stick to mix some of the drywall compound and beige paint together.
- Glue the Mug Ornamanets to the sign.
- Spread the mixture onto the wood surface evenly.
- Arrange the wooden letters to spell “peppermint mocha” and paint them red.
- Use White puff paint to decorate the gingerbread mugs.
- Paint some white glass beads red to look like crushed candy canes.
- Sprinkle the “crushed candy canes” on the top of the mugs. Add mini candy canes or cookies to the top of mugs.
- Decorate the border of the sign with puff paint.
- Place the red letters on the sign and use the white puff paint around the letters.
- Finish with white glitter over everything to give it a sugar appearance.
- Let dry overnight until everything hardens.
