How It All Started
I started Simple Made Pretty in 2016 to share my love for organizing, decorating, crafting, and simplifying everyday life.
I grew up on a farm with 5 siblings, where I learned early on how to work hard, live simply, and make the most of what we had. I learned how to sew, cook, clean, and create things from scratch—and those skills stuck with me.
As I got older, friends would always ask how I kept my home organized or how I came up with DIY ideas on a budget. They encouraged me to start sharing… and that’s how this blog was born.
What started as a creative outlet turned into something so much bigger—and I’m so grateful you’re here.
