How can I make a Christmas tree collar?
You can use many items around the house to wrap around the base of a Christmas tree. I’ve used extra blankets as a Christmas tree skirt and other homemade Christmas tree skirts. This Christmas Tree collar is super easy and cheap to make using $2 supplies from Dollar Tree!

- Gather Supplies. Watch the video below for more instructions.
- Cut the poster board in half length-wise. I used 2 posterboards to cover the 35″ circumference of the base of our tree. Pencil trees will probably only need one poster board.
- Use double-sided tape to secure the ends together. I used 2 rows of tape with 2 inches of space from each row to ensure the posterboard stayed together.
- Wrap around your tree and secure the last end together.
