Adding a fun ornament to the top of your tree gives it a finishing touch. You can also create a large bow following this tutorial to the top of a Christmas tree.
How To Make The Dollar Tree DIY Star Christmas Tree Topper:
Supplies:
- Wooden Star
- Red & White paint
- Painter’s taper (this one is my fav)
- Red Felt stickers
- Wooden Dowel
- Tacky Glue or Hot Glue Gun
Directions:
- Gather Supplies. Watch the video below for more instructions.
- Paint the star white and let dry.
- Use painter’s tape to create a border on the edge and paint the edge red. Remove the painter’s tape and let it dry.
- Arrange the felt letters to create your sign and attach using the sticky backing of the letters.
- Glue the dowel to the back of the star using tacky glue (if you have time to let it dry) or a hot glue gun.
- Hang the Dollar Tree DIY star topper in the tree and enjoy!
