What is the best paint brand for kitchen cabinets?
If you are wondering how to paint laminate kitchen cabinets, rest assured! Our cabinets are a combination of Plywood (the inside and the frame), Particle Board wrapped in Laminate (the doors), and Formica (the side under the bar). With all three of these materials to paint, I needed to choose the RIGHT paint for our kitchen cabinets. You can be sure that if your Kitchen cabinets are made with any of these materials, you can try the same paint that I used and have great results!

Should I Remove The Doors When Painting Kitchen Cabinets?
Fun Fact: I did not remove the doors when I painted our kitchen cabinets the first time.
No one noticed.
At all!
The only person that will know you didn’t remove the doors is you (or the next person that buys your house, lol).
That said, I had more time to paint our cabinets when I painted them two-toned so I removed the doors, sanded the areas that I missed, and painted the cabinets the correct way.
Yes, you should remove the doors if you want to do it correctly and plan to have the same cabinet doors for several years.
Painting kitchen cabinets do not have to be a hard job. You can have beautiful two-toned cabinets with just a little prep work.
Can I Paint My Kitchen Cabinets Two Different Colors?
