If you’re curious (or in a hurry)…
I highly recommend ordering online since these are very hard to find in stores.
The Peel and Stick Tiles come in a box of 50 sheets that are 12″ x 12″ and if you don’t use all 50 sheets, most Dollar Tree stores allow an in-store exchange with your receipt.
I used 25 units to complete our kitchen backsplash = $25.
I ordered these peel and stick subway tiles from Dollar Tree online and had them shipped to my local store with free shipping. It took a few weeks to have them delivered but it was worth the wait!
I installed these subway tiles on our kitchen backsplash in May 2020 and they held up great! Later that year, we had granite countertops installed so sadly, I had to remove the Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles and we ended up installing real tile on the backsplash.
I highly recommend trying these peel and stick tiles! They stayed secure to the wall, especially behind the stove (I get a lot of questions asking about that!). They also peeled off fine and didn’t leave a sticky residue or remove any drywall.
If you are renting, these peel and stick tiles are perfect to change up a room!
How to Install Dollar Tree Peel and Stick Backsplash Subway Tile
I share how to install Dollar Tree peel and stick subway tile in this post. You can watch a detailed video below or follow the instructions in this post.
Are Peel and Stick Tiles Worth it?
Yes! I used these Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles in 3 different rooms in our house and they are durable. They also peel off very easily.
If you are looking for an alternative peel and stick subway tile, I used this brand Peel and Stick Tiles in our Travel Trailer. These peel and stick subway tiles are very easy to cut to fit the space but are much smaller than the Dollar Tree peel and stick backsplash.
Are Peel and Stick Tiles Easy to Remove?
The Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles are easy to remove. I had ours on the kitchen backsplash for 9 months before removing them to install a real tile backsplash. The Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles came right off the wall and the wall was not damaged.
What are the Best Peel and Stick Backsplash Tiles?
As mentioned above, I used a different peel and stick tile in our Travel Trailer renovation and I’m including a link here.

How to Use Dollar Tree Peel and Stick Subway Tile
The Dollar Tree peel and stick subway tiles are easy to cut with scissors but I recommend using a paper cutter (I’m linking mine below!). A paper cutter will ensure you have an even line and makes the application process faster.

Supplies:
- Peel and Stick Subway Tiles
- Box Cutter
- Scissors
- Paper Cutter
Directions:
- Gather supplies.
- Remove the protective sheet from the back of the tiles.
- Place the tile on the wall/surface and press firmly.
- Repeat until all tiles are covering the surface.
- You will see a seam that connects each tile and the next steps explain how to cover the seam.
- Use a paper cutter to cut one tile from the 12 x 12 tile.
- Use the sticky paper to size on the back of the tile and fold down to create a double-sided piece of tape (like a loop).
- Place the tile on top of the area with the seam.
As mentioned in the video, I placed my Dollar Tree peel and stick tiles on top of a peel and stick wallpaper from Target. The reason I did that is mostly that I was lazy lol, but also because the wallpaper was turning yellow after 2 years. Also, since we have textured walls, I was always bothered by the fact that you could see the bumps through the wallpaper.
