Have you noticed that greeting cards these are days are really expensive?! Seriously, the hubby gave me a Mother’s Day card and when I looked at the price on the back (it’s a bad habit, I know) I saw that he paid close to $10 for it! Half the time these cards end up being recycled or stuffed in a drawer causing clutter, so that day we made a pact to not buy any more greeting cards. Besides, you can find so many free ones online or make them yourself! Free Printable Father’s Day Greeting Cards Coloring Craft for Kids

 

I decided to make some cards that required some effort from the kids, I mean, these are for their dad anyway. So I created some cards they could be creative and color to give to daddy. My kids are 6 and 4 years old but I included a funny printable for tweens or teens that could be colored or left as is.

 

Here’s what you need to make these cards:

• Free Printable (get it below!)
• White Cardstock (65 lbs weight works)
• Black & White (or color) Printer
• Paper Scoring Tool (optional)
• Crayons/Markers/Colored Pencils

Directions:

1. Download the printable and print desired cards.
2. Use a scoring tool if you have one (I have this one) or fold the card on the center-marked crease.
3. Let the kids be creative coloring their masterpiece!

 

 

You don’t need an envelope for these large cards but if you want to make one, just fold the corners of a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock to fit around the card.

From Your Daughter Card

 

 

I made the daughter card with stick people so kids can add clothes, hair, etc to match themselves and their dad. See how my daughter colored hers below and daddy with a beard.

 

 

Superhero Card

 

My son is really into superheroes (isn’t every little boy?) So I made this Super Dad design for his card. Check out how he colored it!

 

 

Without Me Card

 

 

I saw this card on Pinterest and thought it was hilarious! This card would be perfect for older kids, colored or left as is.

 

 

 

 

The back of the cards say “Colored with Love” and the Without Me Card has a heart as well.
