DIY Stamped Books Printable

I kept seeing adorable farmhouse style stamped books on Instagram and I decided to make some of my own using Dollar Tree books, paint, and an expensive alphabet stamp. Well, they were cute but I knew there had to be an easier way! Well, I found one! I ended up creating my own printable book covers so I didn’t have to use a ton of books to create a fun seasonal decor in my home.

How to Create Your Printable Book Covers

Supplies:

• ANY COLOR Cardstock (I prefer Staples brand 110 lb white cardstock, but 60 lb works well too)… ANY COLOR other than dark cardstock colors like Navy, Black, Dark Green, etc. will work)
• Access to a printer (a black and white printer will do!)
• 2-4 books with a 0.75-1-inch spine, and NO LARGER than 5.5″ x 8.25″ (I found my books at Dollar Tree)
• Scoring Tool (optional but very helpful to create a perfect crease)
• Free Printable (get 9 pages for Free in my library – access below – OR get the BIG Bundle here)

Directions:

1. Print the free printable, which is 9 pages.
2. Use a scoring tool (like this one) to score the pages on the indicated light gray lines.
3. Place the book cover around the books and arrange to create a phrase.
4. Wrap the bundle of books with twine, ribbon, raffia, yarn, etc.
