Pop Up Camper Checklist
We purchased a Pop Up Camper during the Summer of 2020 and after taking our first couple trips in the Pop Up Camper, we quickly realized how important a family camping list and pop up camper necessities are. I put together this Free Printable Pop Up Camper Checklist with all of our pop up camper must-haves. Stocking a pop up camper can be a challenge because you are limited on space but this pop up camper setup checklist is very helpful and I’m including some of our pop up camping tips and tricks in this post!

Pop Up Camping Checklist for Packing
We use a packing checklist every time we plan a trip out of town. This Vacation Packing checklist has come in handy for every family trip we’ve ever taken! This Pop-Up Camping checklist has helped so we can make sure that everything we need is either in the camper or needs to be packed before we leave.
If you plan to camp somewhere without a cell phone signal or you are very far from nearby convenience stores, a checklist to make sure you have everything you need will save the day!

Pop Up Camper Necessities
Some Pop Up camper necessities included on my Free Printable Pop Up Camper Checklist is a water hose and water filter, leveling blocks, flashlights/lanterns, extension cord, batteries, and more.
We keep these items inside our camper at all times, but it’s nice to look at the checklist and remind ourselves that we have these items in the camper before every trip (in case we took them out or misplaced them for some reason).
Pop Up Camper Must-Haves
I included some Pop Up Camper Must-Haves such as bedding, clothing, cleaning supplies, health, grooming, kitchen/cooking supplies, and toys/games.
Many of these items stay in the camper, however, some items (like bedding and towels) are removed from our Pop Up Camper after every trip to wash them. It’s nice to have these items on the checklist to remind us if they’ve been put back into the Pop Up Camper storage.
Pop Up Camping Meal Planning
Packing food and planning meals for camping trips is just as important as packing everything else. Pop up camper meals will depend on what essential kitchen items you have in your camper.
The first time we went camping in our Pop Up camper, we forget several food items that were needed to make a complete meal… we brought pancake mix but forgot the syrup!
Once I created this meal planning chart, I could plan what food items we need to pack. I also created a master list of our top favorite camping meals to refer to when I make our Camping Meal Plan.Â
I also took into consideration that most campsites do not have cell phone service, so if my hubby needs to run to the grocery store to purchase a food item, I need to give him a hand-written grocery list (also included in the Free Printable!).
