The xTool M2 is a laser cutter, engraver, printer, and Print Then Cut machine designed for creators, crafters, and small business owners.

These boards are ideal for beginners because they’re affordable enough to experiment with while still producing professional-looking results. They’re also available in multiple sizes, making them perfect for everything from personalized gifts to home décor and Etsy products.
Dollar Tree recently introduced a slightly larger version of their small bamboo cutting board, making it even more versatile for laser engraving projects. If you find them in your local store, I recommend grabbing a few because they tend to sell out quickly.

After engraving, I lightly cleaned the boards with a Magic Eraser and water to remove any residue. Once dry, I applied a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil to bring out the rich bamboo grain and make the engraving really pop.
