You can make cookies taste better by adding a secret ingredient like finely shredded coconut or grated lemon. You can easily add either one of those ingredients to this sugar cookie recipe to kick up the flavor.
What is the secret to a good cookie?
The secret to a good cookie is to not over-bake them. These sugar cookies should be rolled out with a certain thickness so they are not too thin and bake too quickly. If these sugar cookies are rolled too thin, they will be hard and crunchy and no one likes crunchy cookies, hehe.
Should sugar cookies be crunchy or soft?
As mentioned in that last question, in my opinion, cookies should be soft and not hard and crunchy. Although I do know some people like certain cookies to be crunchy. I think it’s just a matter of opinion.
