Make your own DIY Cricut Tire Cover using the FREE SVG files from our SVG design team! Follow along with me as I customize my own Tire cover using Cricut supplies. Use these 17 cut files using your Cricut (or vinyl cutting machine) to make camping t-shirts, mugs, totes, campsite decor, and so much more! I created this SVG file to make my own Jeep tire cover which also fits on RV, Travel Trailer, and Pop-up Camper tires.
Slice or weld the image in order to fit on a 12 x 24-inch mat. I welded a few of the words together and the center image. I also separated the sun image and "wander" to cut on orange vinyl and the rest was cut on black vinyl.
Set your Cricut machine to cut on the vinyl setting.
Place the Oracal 651 Vinyl on a standard Grip Cricut cutting mat with the grid/white side face down.
Cut the images.
Weed the images using Cricut weeding tools.
Clean the material surface area to remove any particles.
Create the large decal by arranging each of the smaller cut pieces on a flat surface. Use tape on the back if needed.
Once you have the large image together, roll the clear transfer tape/contact paper over the vinyl. If the contact paper misses a few spots, just place a smaller piece of contact paper on top of everything until you have one large piece.
Flip the decal over and press firmly to smooth out the vinyl and make sure it sticks to the contact paper.
Carefully remove the white paper backing to the vinyl sticks to the contact paper.
For best results, apply the vinyl decal to the tire cover when it's on the tire.
Place the decal on the tire cover with the sticky side down.
Press firmly and smooth out areas to attach the vinyl decal to the tire cover.
Gently peel back the contact paper away from the tire cover.
